It'll Be Okay

"Now, Chi, I know you miss Mimi, but part of growing up is accepting that some of your friends will be busy, but they'll be back soon," Aku told his daughter after her throwing another tantrum for the loss of her best friend and true love, Mimi, daughter of HIM. "Now, get some rest, okay Chi?"

The fiery red-headed girl sighed and looked out the window to her home city where she was a poster child. She had many admirers, but she just wished she could be with Mimi right now. Chi scowled once her phone had to charge since she mailed over 10,000 texts to Mimi, but with no answer. 

"Good night, Chi, Demongo will be outside your room if you need anything, I have business to attend to." Aku told her, then shut the door behind him.

Chi sighed, burying her face in her arms as she cried into them, hoping Mimi would be alright and come back to visit her soon again for HIM had come to see Aku without Mimi this time. Chi looked up as it got dark and a vision of Mimi's face came into view. Chi wiped away her tears, looking at it and feeling lost. She even imagined an angelic, peaceful and heart-melting voice that Mimi would speak or sing to her if Mimi had the ability to speak to her.

Chi started to flashback to the first time she had seen Mimi in person and become official acquaintances in Mimi's mind and best friends in Chi's mind. Chi was told by her father to be on her best behavior for the guest of HIM, the ruler of Hell, who was bringing his daughter to socialize with Aku's daughter. Chi wore her best kimono to look presentable. Chi was welcomed by a pounce from Mimi and as Chi looked into those crimson as her skin eyes, Chi felt like her eleven year old soul had fallen in love.

Chi: I always wanted my own best friend
And then she showed up to our door

I didn't question where she came from
I wasn't lonely anymore

Chi then had various flashbacks of hanging out with Mimi before the devil girl made her way to Castle Grim for dangerous adventures for her life against the Bitch Queen, Mandy.

Chi: Soon we did everything together

I watched her grow into a woman
I watched her sleep under my bed at night

To have Mimi in my clutches and control

I want to assassinate the competition

Demongo floated into Chi's room. "That was the creepiest thing I ever heard."

Chi glared at him. She then heard her phone beep that it was finished charging and she swiped it into her hands and rapidly began to text Mimi again, focusing very hard and thinking fondly of the devil girl she was destined to be with.
