Ruby is the daughter of Dorothy Gale on a small farm, possibly the same farm Em and Henry raised Dorothy on. However, there aren't as many animals or people around the farm. Next-door lives Ruby's best friend, Diana who is very close to her and even calls her mother 'Aunty Dorothy'. Ruby and Diana bond as well as sisters, usually being very sweet to each other, sharing stuff together such as stories. Ruby is very close to her teacher, Ms. Burke, and her mother. It is unknown what happened to her father, she mentions that he is gone though. Ruby and Diana go on an adventure in Oz much to their surprise as everyone knows her as Dorothy's daughter and goes with Diana, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and formerly Cowardly Lion to find the Flower Princess and Flower Queen before Myo destroys them. Ruby went through several name changes such as Janet after 'Granny Dot's' daughter, Liza, after Liza Menalli, and even Judy.
